The Energy Zones Mapping Tool currently includes the 373 Geographic Information System (GIS) data layers listed below. Over time, data layers will be added, updated, and removed. The GIS layers are compiled from a variety of sources for the purpose of screening-level analysis, and each has a limit to the scale, currency, and accuracy of the data.

		Coalbed Methane Field	Geology	Energy Information Administration
		Abstract: This dataset is field boundary polygons of Coalbed Methane (CBM) based on producing wells in the USA. Field outline polygons were created by buffering wells from each field. Buffered well polygons from each field were then unioned into a single polygon record (may contain multiple rings). A smoothing algorithm was applied to the polygons.
